Product Features

MP does not contain saponifiable ester bonds, and the bound chlorine atoms are very stable, making the coating highly resistant to water, salt, and chemical corrosion.

MP does not contain reactive double bonds, so it is not easily oxidized and degraded. The coating is resistant to atmospheric aging and has excellent light stability, not prone to yellowing or chalking.

The ether bonds in the composition of MP provide internal plasticization, allowing the coating to maintain a certain degree of flexibility without the need for additional plasticizers, thus avoiding brittleness caused by the migration of plasticizers.

MP is a polymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl isobutyl ether, and its presence of ether bonds provides good adhesion to substrates, such as the surfaces of light metals like aluminum and zinc.

MP contains chlorine atoms, which give it fire-resistant properties. It is used in fire-resistant coatings in combination with other flame retardant pigments, fillers, and fireproofing materials.

MP has good solubility and is well soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, and ketones.
