Details
Product introduction
3216 is a phenolic amine-cured two-component epoxy tiecoat to extend the repaintinginterval. This product provides excellent corrosion and water resistance.
Recommended applications
It is generally used as a transition coating between epoxy coating and physical dryingcoating for good interlayer adhesion in atmosphere and immersion environment. lt canbe used as an anticorrosive primer for underwater coatings, a tiecoat for antifoulingcoatings, and a sealcoat for old antifouling coatings.

Construction conditions
Transition coating: Sand blast or use power tools to remove allrust and other loose materials, and remove all residues.Touch-up to complete film thickness.
Sealcoat for old antifouling coatings: Thoroughly clean or spraywith high-pressure fresh water to remove the hydrolyzed layeron the surface of the old antifouling coatings. Make sure the oldcoatings with weak adhesion between layers are completely removed.
The substrate must have a temperature >3°C above the dewpoint. The environment should be <85%RH.
It is recommended to apply at above -10°c. The painting surfacemust be clean and dry.
It is recommended to maintain strong ventilation duringpainting, drying and curing.
